Boat - Transport - Asker and Bærum -

Asker and Bærum features lovely long coastlines. It is therefore inevitable that travel by boat is often the best, and sometimes the only, method of transport if you want to experience the region’s gems.

The Nesoddfergene ferries travel between Oslo/Lysaker and Nesoddtangen all year round. M/S Rigmor and M/S Rigfar are ferries that takes you to the islands in the fjord.

M/S Rigmor and M/S Rigfar

These boats are among the most popular in the inner Oslofjord area, and are visited by 30 to 40 thousand travellers each year. MS Rigmor is probably Norway’s oldest route-driven wooden ferry. We run ferries - and mini-cruises among the islands in Asker and Bærum. We arrange trips to Oscarsborg fortress (opera and day trips), Drøbak, Hovedøya, pirate evenings, fishing trips, school trips and more. For more information visit;
